Comforters are constructed using our wool batting at our MI woolen mill, where it goes right from the carding machine to a special frame in the sewing center. They are covered in 100% US organic cotton muslin fabric with yarn hand ties to hold the batting in place. Comforters are approximately 2.5“ thick and can be purchased in five different sizes.
Custom sizes are also available, as are custom made covers for both standard and custom sizes (contact us at dashingstarfarmer@gmail.com ). 
To keep your Comforter lofty and sanitized, air it periodically in direct sunlight. It can also be placed in a large clothes dryer on the air fluff setting (no heat). 
Our Comforters are NOT washable at home, but arrangements can be made for laundering at the mill if necessary.  
Each Comforter is constructed upon order, which can require up to six weeks lead time prior to shipping.
Note: Comforters are not returnable or exchangeable.
